R.W. Bray currently serves as the Black Engagement Director of the Republican Party of Texas where he is responsible for building and constituent relations while working to enhance the brand and visionary experience of the state GOP.
R. W. Bray is at the forefront of helping to redefine the experience and opinions of current and future African American votes. Part of that responsibility includes encouraging civic participation of blacks and supporting and creating coalitions to advance shared social and fiscal ideologies.
R. W. Bray is also the President and CEO of SWAY Consulting which provides leaders and businesses – large or small, with political and corporate intelligence to proceed in today’s world. Prior to founding SWAY Consulting, R.W. Bray Law Office Superintendent at JAG Corps and as Deputy Director/ Deputy Chief of Staff for Council Member H. Brown for the City of Houston.
Bray also ran for the Texas State Senate as a Republican Candidate in 2013. As a candidate he ran on the concept of growth and successfully advocated for three “E’s” being the answer for a powerful sustainable economy: Education, Entrepreneurship and Energy
