An Epic Talk Equals An Epic Success

Selecting the right speakers for your event can make your event Epic success. Choosing the wrong speakers can result in an epic fail. How do you know if you’ve chosen the right speaker? The answer lies with how your audience responds.

First off, what is an epic event? An epic event is one where the content and speakers resonates with the audience. That may sound rather simple to pull off. However, it is not as easy as one might think. The speaking industry is flooded with great speakers who know there craft inside and out. Yet if the speaker lacks the skill set to shape their ideas clearly and convey that message to the audience, in a simple format, their speech, will be looked at as just another speech.

When you ask audience members what they remember most about the day’s event or the speaker, and  they are unable to give you a clear response that’s a sign that the speakers message may not have reasonated with the audience.

If the audience’s response is positive then you have chosen the right speaker. What does a positive response look like? Typically audience members will seek out the speaker after their talk to ask questions or to connect. The more the audience engages the speaker, the likelihood you have selected the right fit for your event.

Furthermore, the audience will ask about future events involving the speaker(s). Inquiries about future events will continue days after the event has ended.
